Tharai
In this Treatment, Herbal Oils, Milk Or Buttermilk Containing Herbs Etc Are Poured Onto The Forehead According To A Certain Method For 40 Minutes Per Day For A Period Of 7-21days. This Treatment Is Mainly Applied In Cases Of Insomnia. Memory Loss, Headache, Mental Tension, And Certain Skin Diseases.
Thalam
In this treatment special warm herbal oil is poured into a hat fastened to the head and allowed to act for 15-60 minutes daily –depending on the patient’s condition –for a period of 7 days. It is very effective with Bell’s palsy, dryness of the nose, mouth, and throat, severe headaches and other disorders in the region of the head.
Nasiyam
Nasiyam is one of the panchakarma treatment. This is a therapy in which herbal juices, medicinal oils etc. are administered via the nose daily for a period of 14 days This is an effective remedy for certain headaches, paralysis, mental disorders, and some skin diseases.
